Before joining TTYFA, I was shy and afraid to speak in public. Through their workshops, I gained confidence and now openly talk about issues affecting young women. Today, I mentor others in my community.
As a youth volunteer with TTYFA, I discovered how powerful theatre can be in educating people. I’ve used drama to raise awareness about health and accountability, and I’ve seen parents and leaders take real action.
I used to think young people had no say in community decisions. With TTYFA, I joined dialogues on education and realized our voices matter. Seeing leaders listen to us has been life-changing.
Climate change was a big challenge in my village. Through TTYFA, we performed a play on farming practices, and it inspired people to adopt new, sustainable methods. Our community is beginning to see the benefits.
